PUBLIC-INTEREST RESEARCH · FRONTIER INQUIRY · STEWARDSHIP

Some questions deserve
a place to be asked.

Shamballah Research Institute is developing a home for disciplined inquiry into consciousness, the natural world, frontier technology, and the questions that bring science and meaning into conversation.

01 / OUR PURPOSE

Wonder begins
the inquiry.
Evidence carries it forward.

Human experience contains questions worth exploring. SRI seeks to translate curiosity into careful methods, shareable results, education, and constructive public work—without confusing possibility with proof.

02 / RESEARCH DIRECTIONS

Many disciplines.
One commitment to clarity.

These are research directions under development, not claims of completed experiments or established extraordinary findings.

01

Consciousness

Human experience, perception, contemplative traditions, and testable research questions.

02

Field observation

Environmental baselines, sky monitoring, sensory data, and careful records of unusual reports.

03

Technology & ethics

Public-interest AI governance, responsible innovation, and civic resilience.

04

Meaning & mathematics

Philosophy, symbolic traditions, mathematical beauty, and education.

03 / A POSSIBLE REGION FOR THE WORK

A landscape
with room to listen.

The Landers region offers a distinctive desert environment for future low-impact field observation, ecological study, and education. It is one possible geographic context—not a selected or controlled SRI site.

SRI does not own or control a Landers property, and no specific parcel has been selected as an institutional asset. Any future field activity would require a documented site agreement, legal and safety review, and appropriate institutional approval.

04 / OUR WIDER WORK

One institute.
Many pathways for service.

Landers is one possible geographic context within a broader proposed institutional research portfolio.

II

Public-interest systems

Governance, scientific transparency, practical education, and accountable technical tools.

05 / HELP SHAPE THE FIRST CHAPTER

Build the method.
Then choose the setting.

We welcome conversations with researchers, educators, advisors, land stewards, and prospective collaborators. Any future charitable activity would require verified legal status, board authority, and fundraising readiness.

CURRENT STATUS

Transparent by design.

Research directions are clearly labeled, evidence is not presumed, and institutional commitments require documented authority. Visitors deserve a clear distinction between a vision and verified work.
